Sweet Bourbon Potatoes

Ingredients: bourban, cayenne, salt and pepper, sourhum syrup, sweet potatoes, unsalted butter

6 sweet potatoes, 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper, 3/4 cup brown sugar, 3/4 cup bourbon, 3 tablespoons of sorghum syrup, pinch of salt and pepper.

preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a casserol dish with 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the cayenne pepper along with the salt and pepper to the sweet potatoes and put into casserole dish. Melt the butter and then add sugar, bourbon, and sorghum syrup. Bring to a boil and then take off the heat and pour over the sweet potatoes. Bake for one hour and turn sweet potatoes occasionally. This make a great side dish for pork.
